Here at Internship in Brighton we pride ourselves on showing our interns a cultural experience as well as the obvious opportunity to work in our country. We take them on a few regular days out, these are those days:
A regular trip we take interns on is a short bus ride (sometimes on an open top bus) up to Devil’s Dyke in the Sussex South Downs, usually for half a day in the afternoon. The views are spectacular the whole journey up, then upon reaching the destination, even more spectacular.
Students are taken on a walk around Devil’s Dyke which ends up in lovely small traditional cafe at Saddlescoombe Farm.
Another trip we often take the students on is a trip to Seven Sisters, again a part of the Sussex Downs but this time a bit further away from Brighton. It is famous for it’s white chalk cliffs and beautiful river and we spend a whole day here with the students. This trip is probably ours and the students favourite. The views are absolutely breath taking, even on a cloudy day. This trip can quite often coincide with a trip to Eastbourne, a town very close by with a lot of history and Georgian buildings. A great spot to eat lunch and purchase some souvenirs.
