What an internship is

Originating in the United States, the idea of the internship placement was to provide people with vocational work experience opportunities prior to or upon completion of their degree studies before they entered the workforce.

Today the Internship concept has been embraced by the European Union since it is universally accepted that internship programmes are an excellent educational experience for the person whilst providing a valuable contribution to the employer’s workforce.
Here in Brighton more and more firms are realising the benefits of accepting an intern. Our interns come from other EU countries, but all have good or fluent English; some will also be learning it here at a language school locally
